I like Can and would like to keep him edit: because one of you mentalists will probably pull up a post where I called him a useless twat: he can be braindead at times but he's a decent footballer (and a good looking dude) and I don't think we can get someone better than him who can fill the same squad position

Can was poo poo most of last season but the last two months he was really loving good. I don't want him sold at all- doubly so because Henderson has injury problems.

Lucas was primarily a defensive midfielder and that's all he could do, Can isn't. He can actually go forward too. He's also still really young, while Lucas is old and has been crap ever since he got injured, and he was only at his best for a couple seasons. But I agree in what you're actually saying, in that Lucas was a good lad.
