The names appear in a very particular order in posters and credits due to different unions and guilds and paydays and many different reasons. That's why you have a long list of actors and then "with Name Namerson" plus "and Jimmy Smith as The Bad Guy" at the end, because someone isn't starring but they want to be the big finish in the credits. The poster people just design a poster before they get the required info like cast, crew, studio and rating.
