Health was an issue but he was also scratched for dumb AV reasons when he finally got back for good. He was great when he played and wasn't hurt in the first half though, and if he stays healthy and gets ice time he should be fine

So I really don't know where to go with this pick. And I really don't want to make this pick now. But seeing as how all the young guys are going and I think I am required by forum law to pick this guy since he's in my avatar, I'm selecting the most handsome boy in Jesse Puljujarvi. In defense of myself, his AHL numbers were pretty decent, he actually had decent 5v5 P/60 numbers in limited TOI and his Corsi numbers were good. He'll be on the Oilers this upcoming year, likely on the 3rd line but could move up because our RW depth isn't great. But I still don't like picking him this early, and wouldn't have if I felt I could get him later. It's not as bad as the Dubois pick, but I still don't like it. I want to say I took Honka like two or three drafts ago. I'm surprised they didn't bring him up sooner but I guess with Klingberg coming in like he did (and also being a RHS) they could be a little more patient. Man I hope St. Louis and Chicago just flame out this year. Winnipeg, Dallas, and Nashville have such cool teams and interesting young players. e: Would have liked to have gotten Dadonov too, but I figured he would go pretty soon after Shipper.
