If they'd been up front that it was probably going to take a whole year or more to get the app done, I'd have worked out a different way to stream it. But now it's been so long that I know if I buy a Roku or whatever just for FilmStruck they'll announce the PS4 app like a week later. So they've lost out on a year's worth of subscription fees from me, and probably a lot of others too.

The A-picture is some poo poo called The Hidden, which I ain't never heard of but looks pre' decent https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bl-iB4WAB0o

Apparently the latter is the follow-up for the guy who did Freddy's Revenge, so I'm optimistic.

Yoooo the Hidden is a fuckin masterpiece, the opening is 1 part Michael Mann, 1 part Troma, and 1 part hair metal.

It's really great.

I've seen They Live of course, but I'll confess that it's my least favorite of what most people would consider the "big" Carpenter films. It's the only Carpenter that I've only seen once and then haven't had a desire to go back to it. I've seen Body Bags twice but They Live only once. I've seen Ghosts of Mars and Vampires about 4 times each.

Also, Dr. Vink with a vuh-vuh-vuh was better.

poo poo, he'd do it intentionally and then laugh about it.

Doctor Vink was such an awesome rear end in a top hat.

Also The Monkey isn't my favorite story, but it's certainly memorable. Fits the "King writes about things he sees in antique stores" trope perfectly.

This choice may be too obvious, but Night of the Creeps with Night of the Comet.

14 year long rewatch of Ravenous (last I can remember is showing it to some friends in college) long enough that I only remember two scenes in the film. So like watching it brand new again.

I think next I am going to probably go through 1995 to 99 horror movies( the worst stretch ugh). There's a lot I haven't rewatched in 5+ years.
