Yeah that looks a pretty bad hit Where was this poo poo a few weeks ago on him and Smith Canberra / Queensland conspiracy (more seriously, the refs make this rod for their own backs by ignoring so much and then overreacting to little things so much. They can never get their poo poo together and just do what the park refs do every week. Hell, they make mistakes all the time but manage to be consistent and not hilariously inept)

Watching all the games today and Jesus Christ the standard of refereeing this year is horrific. So many blown calls and "refereeing by crowd" it's not funny. It's gone past the point of wondering whether they'll gently caress up something in the finals but rather how important the gently caress up will be.

But it has always been shocking. The refs consistently fail to enforce the rules which is maddeningly brain meltingly annoying. If they came out and admitted they were just going to WWE it and fix poo poo then id actually be ok with that.

Considering the way all the commentators (esp. Parker) were mystified about the Tedesco try I did check the rules today and yep, if you kick the ball after dropping it you get to play on. It a good rule, means that the ref doesn't have to decide what is a drop or an intentional kick. Also seems like the obvious rule.
