whew, just caught up with the thread since episode ten (it was A WHOLE drat TOWNs worth of posts!) and about half of them seemed to be about the coop/janey-e sex scene and wowzers, tempers flared like judd nelson's nostrils  this was sad for me to see because i love you all and it was a very avoidable problem if lynch had extended the "do you find me attractive dougie?" scene by five seconds:coop looks up from the cake, that lil lodgeflame from the slots at the casino appears above naomi watts' "bathing suit area" complete with cool mysterious jazzy musical cue, cut back to coop, his eyes light up, he drops the fork and eagerly stumbles towards janey-e like shes that guy at work with the coffee if the next scene was janey-e grindin upon a smiling flappy coop there definitely would have been no dubious consent issue discussion. it seems really obvious too and im shocked lynch didn't think of it 🤔 sorry to bring up the most divisive peaks controversy since whether or not john justice wheeler was gorgeous and incredible or not again but hopefully everyone will see how good my idea is and just pretend thats what actually happened in their heads/during further rewatches from now on so no one ever fights again

Does Lynch have views on vegetarianism? Presumably, both the White and Black Lodge entities feed on suffering, etc. But the White Lodge seems to benignly inhabit trees and owls. And the Block Lodge seems to evilly consume men, women and children. The good guys eat vegetables and don't kill animals. The bad guys kill, torture and eat meat just like we do
