Congrats to Daniel Bryan, he turned into a farm and still managed to win in 2017. Also, a Best Tag Team would be fun as heck.

The tag one isn't too hard, you just need 64 teams

I already gave my secret hidden third 64-man bracket that only gets voted on when the finals are set and creates a triple threat, I don't know what other mojo you need for next time. In the interim most hated sounds cool, though Benoit is an elephant in the room there. I admit that the idea of a Benoit/Reigns final excites me though. And even if Bryan is still making non-wrestling appearances constantly in 2019 I think Okada deserves the automatic bye, give some proper championship advantage. Bryan came out on top in what was effectively a giant 5 year odyssey of tournaments, let him go out on top and knowing that no one is likely to ever match that level of greatness.

I dunno if I'd include Benoit it seems like a thing for people still alive Then again can we think of 128 that we utterly hate?

Does it need to be active? Something like greatest X of all-time could be fun, talker for example.

Probably not! I don't know where the thread is anymore, or where the images have gone, but I remember doing the GREATEST TAG TEAM ALL TIME. The problem with that though was I couldn't do it again later because I mean, it'd just be the same.

HulkaMatt posted:I dunno if I'd include Benoit it seems like a thing for people still alive We definitely can. I figure to only use living wrestlers, meaning the more horrifying likes of Benoit, Snuka and Grizzly wouldn't qualify, but you can still use long-retired dudes like Nailz. Unfortunately, that disqualifies Giant Gonzalez, but whatever.

Upon further reflection I'm wondering if the 12h8 isn't a rad idea. I dunno. Earnestly voting if we prefer rando bad gimmick to murderer who's been dead for 10 years.

make blank caws of everyone in fire pro and the number of votes equals the number of points you get to put into them. then sim the match.

Great Matches is a good idea but you should extend the voting time to a few days at least for the first couple rounds of the bracket
|
# ? Jul 30, 2017 23:22 |
Alternatively do fewer matches at a time so people have a chance to watch or rewatch any they haven't seen in a while.

i'm good with 64 tag teams. We could also do a most scummy tournament with 128 of the scummiest events to happen in wrestling. Edit: On reflection, if 12h8 may lead to bad stuff my idea may also not be the best of ideas. Well we can always go with 128 greatest wrestler movie/tv roles: stuff like bonesaw, thunderlips, the wwe cartoons, el santos movies, etc. GenericMartini fucked around with this message at 09:42 on Jul 31, 2017 |
