Anyone know what acc I should shoot for in omen? Edit: Ok found it. I need to hit like 1200 or so on fodder, which I should be able to make. I may not be able to hit the acc requisit for a nm without switching to /war, but you can only do one omen a day, and I need whatever cards I can get. Ok I was massively wrong about my accuracy, but now I'm into 1100 acc. Looks like I'll be spamming ambuscade until I get a full +1 set from there before I can bother with omen. loving 1200 for the trash mobs? The post I read was from like 2 years ago, didn't mob evasion get nerfed awhile back? Edit: ok I can do this. I need those cards. Just enough for the +2 set. I have barely enough cash for the ore mats you have to buy, and I have all the other upgrade mats already. All I need are the cards and I'll have my +2 AF set. gently caress man, the delve boss of morimar basalt fields is no joke. We lost two trusts very early on but held our own for a good portion of the fight. At half health we lost the tank, but still recovered until he hit 23% and proceeded to half max hp, stun and silence us all. For the third time in the fight. Them I learn you can dispell his aura, and of course we had a RDM. Oh well, another time I guess. I need his horn and ring, so I'll be at him again later.

Win10 should let you download DirectPlay when you try to launch FFXI, failing that, check Google for the Direct X 9 installer and let that run. I had to do that to get XI working on my new laptop.

Hi, so I've been playing FFXIV for a couple of years, but I've been pretty curious about FFXI. I played MMOs back then, but never really tried FFXI. Heard they made it a lot less punishing and difficult, which is perfectly OK with me, saw it was on sale for $10, and since I am a big dumb idiot with no impulse control, I am now a Tarutaru Warrior named Frostypox on Asura. What have I done?  Actually getting into the game seemed to be the first boss since setting up your account and logging in and poo poo was... not intuitive.

You don't really have any options available in terms of passing down the head honcho position in game, either, so his hands were kinda tied there. He also mentioned some LS drama involving banned members repeatedly getting pearls back, so some issues with sackholders I guess. I don't really pay attention enough to their conversations to know.

I actually found I got used to the controls pretty quickly. I still think I might buy a controller cuz it'll be a lot less awkward to play with one, but I can actually make do with the mouse and keyboard.

I reuped and upgraded to latest expansion the wrong account as i felt like (trying to) play this again as apparently i never learn. Guess im coming back again starting over. Also for added fun no Windower for me as im on Linux now and Wine dont run Windower at all.
