I also love how during the first season Catelyn would travel incognito across the country and Varys would know about it, but now not once, not twice but thrice has a large fleet or army moved from one side of the map to the other and he didn't find out until like 2 days after they got hosed. Those little birds in King's Landing were really good at their job. Whoever has control of them has control over the script.

Also, what's the fuckin timeline on the Casterly Rock battle and how Euron teleported his entire fleet to the other side of Westeros.

Maybe that wasn't the main fleet and was just some partial fleet they keep near Pyke and the Iron Islands Maybe Euron is still in KL

I mean granted, in a good script Euron would have 2 ships that look the same just to gently caress up with his enemies' minds and make them believe that he can be at 2 places at the same time. But no, it's D&D's show. That's Euron's ship, the same one he used to attack the Sand Snakes, travel back to KL, and then (even if he wasn't aboard said ship) sent all the way around the continent and caught up with the Unsullied army that had a clear headstart over him.

This show is dragged down by a considerable number of things, but Emilia Clarke drags it down above all else.

Were people actually expecting Dany to just poo poo stomp every villain for the next 3 seasons? Also are people now seriously drawing the line here when the past 3 seasons have been schlocky as hell?

I still don't get why they made a decision to have less episodes in the two final seasons. Just doesn't make sense.

Or the Lannister army could have rendezvous with him near Highgarden. Euron's fleet had only one way to get to Casterly Rock from King's Landing and that was all around the continent.

Also it's too bad Dany has no informants or spies in Kings Landings because she could have gone on like a 20 min dragon flight and burned all of Eurons fleet. Kings Landing pretty much has 3 full grown dragons right on top of them and they seem really chill about that.

Euron will probably keep Yara alive so that Theon can try to rescue her, then Euron will kill Yara and Theon will kill Euron.

Bran scene was brutal. All the prophecies led to telling your sister that you're a peeping tom? There were some great moments scattered across the episode. I definitely got chills when Dany and Jon met up and the bridge scene with Tyrion was great. This whole time I really wanted to believe Tyrion was the best tactician but it's clear he's still wishing he was in bed with a few girls and some mulled wine.
