From what I understand, magic in My Little Witch Academia, is a metaphor for the animation industry. As it is beong seen as archanic and is dying. But is this really true? I mean anime and animation in general seems as popular as ever.

Japanese workers in general kind of get paid like poo poo from what I can tell. It's apparently largely due to a lot of the problems Japan has as a whole.
