Just swing by D&D and read some of the marxist or general communist stuff. They're the equivalents of those in the US who think freedom is worth it at any price. Except instead it's about seizing the means of production and class struggle. If a few million citizens get starved, gulag'd, mass graved, or driven over by tanks, it was worth it in the long run! Hence the name.

The Cultural Revolution happened after Mao was supposed to be retired. He was feeling irrelevant or just crazy or something and decided to rile people up against standing government. Their domestic politics are fine or even good but they essentially put out a bunch of authoritarian propaganda because if the United States is bad then anyone the US is opposing must be 100% pure and good! I want to help the DSA but some of the crazy the loud voices there have just make me shake my head in hopelessness and hope the Democrats can get an actual progressive platform with useful candidates. But lol, evil is dumb and good is incompetent at all turns.
