He made two low-rent primitive technology knockoff videos and then just decided to start digging a hole instead.

This morning I was woken up to the garbage truck being noisier than usual for some reason, the driver was having trouble maneuvering out of our tiny little parking area. He managed to get out onto the street and then raise the dumpster up. He decided to do this directly under our low hanging power line covered in decayed insulation mostly flaking off. There was a loud pop and then no power to the building. He knew something was up so finished dumping, backed up, looked up for a while, craned his head out the window, then drove off.

Speaking of zinc fumes my chemistry professor once told a story about the metal workshop he ran in his backyard where he was working with copper and came up short on how much he needed for the piece. But then he thought "oh hey I have these pennies." He learned a valuable lesson on what happens when you breathe zinc.
