Ok scourge is starting to look a lot better than the preview vid would have you believe. F1 spawns shades from life force, and you have a bar of skills above your weapon skills for shade abilities. Micro ahoy!

Yeah, the only thing I could think about would be leaping up with the rabbit mount, dismounting at the very top of the arc, and gliding to get farther than you could with gliding or mounts alone, but that might not be possible (like, you just might not be able to dismount mid-leap at all).

Weird that Mesmer, Engineer, and Revenant didn't get a weapon announcement. I suppose Engineer's holoweapons may count but still seems kinda sucky considering I like Rev and Engi.

OK so the Spellbreaker looks like it'll be completely and utterly useless in PvE, which sucks. Not useless like "not optimal DPS" like Scrapper or whatever, just in every way focused on PvP.

Some deadeye info from WP: Has ammo as a mechanic. He didn't really go into it, but seems like an additional resource when using rifle. Skill 5 - go prone and stealth. Locked in place but can dodge. Get extra (huge) range on weapon skills and double projectile speed. Skill 4 - nuke skill with very high damage. If it hits you can shadow step backwards. Other skills rip boons. F1 - becomes targeted Mark. Builds malice every second. Traits and skills interact with malice. Gets cantrips.

I thought that 4+ month content droughts were inevitable with expansions. They must have been furiously working behind the scenes to have this expansion spaced out like a standard content update.

If you look at HoT in terms of features, there were loads. Guild halls, raids, vertical maps, gliding, a new class, masteries and a new WvW map. It looks like in the new expansion they have mounts as the only big new feature and all the rest of the effort has gone into content and into getting the expansion out quicker. You can see that the specialisations are way more interesting and deep because they didn't have to spend time on a whole new class and it seems like it's the same story with these vast new maps. Even the new masteries seem much more focused and useful rather than the rather stretched set we got initially. Seems like anet have looked at HoT and worked out what went well and what went poorly and really refined their approach for this. So hyped. Holy poo poo.
