There is no problem that cannot be solved through sufficient application of lasers and friendship.
I don't think "ugly" is a useful descriptor for Dick Tracy villians, but having an entire file full of "Ugly + Slow" ... how many of them are there?

And for all the praise that that Fritzi Ritz gets for not being a Guy Gilchrist work, right now it's taking four panels to tell a joke that Mopsy does in one, when does Bushmiller take over?

"Arrested for Aggravated Mopery". Other than a reference to Revenge of the Nerds, that's apparently generic police slang for arresting someone when you don't have a good reason. Fits well with Snails' methods.

Okay, you love logic so much, let's think about
- how does the guy know which word is “10“ if he only ever hears it
- why does he need to be coherent calling the emergency hotline, surely they'd call back for, like, screams
- why doesn't the phone book have emergency numbers in it, marked with pictograms, like every phone book I've ever seen

In addition, he's missing 999, which the UK and territories uses, and also a very large fraction of countries silently have mapped 911 to their emergency hotline anyway, since hollywood has engrained it worldwide and you can't expect tourists to necessarily know the proper number

Everett True is hardly progressive, since he frequently beats the poo poo out of any man he considers effeminate as well, not to mention an assortment of other things. At least the people in the background are shocked in this one rather than grinning about it.

I'm not sure he reflects Condo's beliefs either, I think he's just a caricature. But I don't actually know.
