I assumed most of these leaks were signal Intel guys, probably following whatever contingency protocol exists for a compromised west wing. Thats just me trying to assure myself there exists a plan for this and that plan it as work.

I don't know, the quickest way to get Trump to turn on someone is make him look bad. This leak is going to be placed at Kelly's feet, no doubt about it. I'll go out on a limb and say that most of the leaks haven't been Obama holdovers, but various factions inside the White House that are jockeying for position. That's why the whole 'prosecute the leakers' thing is hilarious. If they ever do get around to a competent investigation, they're going to find out that it's nearly all Trump appointees and hires doing the leaking.
