23 out of 26 being rescued gives me the idea that the impact was coming for enough time to adequately prepare.

Could be too that those Marines were on point with a water ditching scenario.

Either way, it's probably safe to assume the pilots did good work. That many people making it out alive implies some decent flying.

I'm not. The best outcome for trans servicemembers is for Trump to find something shiny and forget about them. What little taste we've gotten of the guidance from WH counsel looks like they dug up someone somewhat competent to write it. It looks like they're trying to put trans status in the same legal box as height/weight noncompliance, but with more favorable terms. If ACLU or whoever wins, they will have earned the crap out of their victory.

Whatever. Anyone standing on level ground knows Obama was a thoughtful and intellectual president. Any criticisms that are out there, many of his supporters will accept and I think he himself would take in stride. He knows he couldn't be as liberal or progressive as many wanted which is funny because his biggest detractors accuse him of just that. Of course everyone who wants to hang him for Benghazi conveniently forgot about a much larger military misadventure just eight years prior. You'll be mocked for the 'blame game' if you bring that up to them.

I don't care if people didn't vote for him. The more successful-in-life Republicans I know always say he's a brilliant guy, they just huff n puff for -reasons- they could -never- vote for 'that'. Fine. It's the running amok with Hannity and Limbaugh stories - those dropout, fucklord fat cat cunts - that drags the lower class Republicans into voting for reality TV bitches like Trump.

I bet banning AM radio would take a percentage off Republican voting. And to think 60 years ago the only way to hear Motown was the AM band.

I couldn't guess what percentage it's responsible for votes wise but AM radio is almost certainly responsible for where the republican party is today from a rhetoric standpoint.

Cool olds know NPR way down on the FM dial is the way to go.

I'd like for a Rush impersonator to make a show and shout in the same tones as Rush, but about the opposite view. Then splice the shows together from between advertising breaks and feed it out into the air.

This is entirely incorrect. We have an overrunning clutch in our transmission that allows for autorotation, and if one engine fails the midwing gearbox allows a single engine to run both proprotors.
Also we have a glide ratio of 4.5/1, which isn't great but we can glide.
