Running candidates is not just about winning, it's also about creating pipelines and getting exposure to a wider, offline audience. Running for everything available, from dogcatcher on up, I think, is the way to go, but its up to the local chapters and individuals to decide what is worth the cost or not. Still, this could be a strong opportunity to get a platform if the Democrats are just going to cede it.

abandoning texas is abandoning the state with the second-highest amount of "illegal" immigrants in the country. Although, we should really be organizing in and around Laredo more than Austin. Don't let the current feud with certain bad actors in the austin chapter cause you to lose sight of that.
