With all the young defensemen going, I'm shocked he fell under the radar, he's only one season removed from being a 5th overall pick. Part of that might be "lol canucks" but he's a legit defense prospect and should be on the Canucks next season.

I thought about him, but it's highly unlikely he gets anything more than 9 games. He stagnated in the OHL last year and hasn't impressed since the WJC in 2016 when he was simply moving the puck up to Laine and Puljujarvi. I think the most likely course of events is he goes to Finland for a year then moves onto the OHL.

He's a better pick than Jordan Subban though.
