Viivi & Wagner so rarely remembers to tell a joke, but there's a certain casualness about the strip that I can't help but respect it. It takes place in a world where nobody seems to give a gently caress about anything. Viivi just lies around on the floor all the time cutting coupons or something. Wagner might be a real pig or not? It doesn't matter. Now he's got more eyes. Now he's a fish. None of it matters. Nothing matters. It's great.

I must have failed.

I never went to summer camp as a kid, so comics like this make me wonder how counselors had the authority to punish you. A teacher holds your grades and disciplinary record, but the worst a counselor can do is send you home. And that's often better than being miserable at camp.

Dump the garbage on that smug dude's feet and go home, kid. Make sure that power is actual.

I assume you'd get in trouble with your parents when you got home if something like that happened. And that could definitely be worse.

Next on Luann:

Mr. Gray: So I see you met my shady sister.

Pru: Yes! That poor woman! She's been through so much! Don't worry, I gave her a great deal and was very accommodating of her weird and suspicious requests!

Mr. Gray: Yeah, I'm going to need you to not do that. She's shady as hell.

Pru: Really? She seemed so nice.

The rest of the cast: Really. She has attempted to gently caress all of us. Literally and figuratively. Did we mention she's bisexual?

Pru: Oh! Gross! Ok! I guess we'll have staff around when she has her weird sex and burglary party after all! Plot over!

That's how it should go, anyway. No way was there time in that short meeting to hammer out a custom contract with her special requests on it, so that shouldn't be a problem.

Why on earth did he invest in this stupid thing anyways? He's supposed to be the smart businessman, and I know he's dating Gunther's mom but she has nothing to do with this and he barely does so what gives? There is no reason I can think of to expect this stupid amateur theater/snack bar to be a huge success.

And of course nothing will go as it would under any normal circumstance with normal people doing normal things humans do. They still haven't ever even addressed that time Les invited Pru to dinner at the expensive restaurant and everyone else came too and they talked about work and he paid the hundreds of dollars to cover the bill, have they?
