Making the rope struggle that's a rest spot between actual stars entering the match the only way to eliminate is so awful. Terminator was robbed.

The "button mashing to eliminate someone against the ropes only" poo poo began with the first SD vs RAW game. Up to and including HCTP, the series allowed the eliminations with strikes and certain grapples. As bleh as it is today, it was a real slog back when it was first introduced. And if you got double teamed, you were as good as done.

The annoying thing about the 2K rumbles is you're never going to get someone going the distance unless they're a main eventer. Unlike with the older Smackdowns, anyone can win the rumble because it only takes a moment to eliminate someone. Hell even DOR has only had midcarders win
