Sometimes they die too tho. It's weird to see it happen. Hell sometimes you knock someone out and they pop back up like 2 seconds later and dont even remember or know theyve been knocked out.

A cage is semi padded. It's like a one inch mat and canvas over ply. It's also pretty slippery fyi. But yeah that's how people die in street fights. It's not the punch its the concrete impact. So much so that my boxing coach used to tell us to catch people if you see them going down once you hit them.
