The show itself is actually pretty good if you don't go into it expecting it to somehow single-handedly legalize gay marriage throughout the entire world. I mean, it's not Utena or Penguindrum, but it was still a decent show imo. That thread was an abomination though, and I would be surprised if anyone who read that shitshow didn't hate the show down to its core.
