As an introvert who took a lot of drama in middle and high school to help myself be more comfortable with being in front of crowds and because I enjoyed it, I resent the implication that quiet theater people are only in it due to self-loathing.

More accurately, the artist lost his mind and what he drew no longer had anything to do with what was in the script. He had gotten old and it was pretty sad, but at the same time it was also really funny.

We sometimes go on about zombie strips and how they need to go away, but I think that applies more to the gag-a-day strips than the soap strips, and I do wish they had at least tried a new artist and/or writer for a little while to see how it went. I don't know the business well, but I suppose once you lose papers for a strip like that it's practically impossible to get them back.
