Also in a way this latest attack should be very telling if the president condemns it and calls it a terror attack. If he literally calls running people over in Spain a terror attack but it's not terror in Virginia the media better be all over it. Also there are more nazi rallies coming up which will probably be even uglier so yeah I don't see the Nazis not being in the news anytime soon.

I actually like it the best out of all the ones I've tried (Hulu, Spectrum, and Youtube). Their partnering with Sinclair doesn't really mean anything either. Sinclair owns network affiliates in markets that Youtube wanted to expand into so they had to partner with them in order to carry local channels on their service. Sinclair is terrible for a whole host of reasons like lobbying the FCC to allow them to expand past the current cap on how much of the country one station group is allowed to reach and making their local affiliates include right wing propaganda in their local news, but this news doesn't have anything to do with that.

Just wanted to point out this hot take from Angle Rye on CNN earlier today. It was pretty funny seeing Jon Avlon become more and more mystified from her response. tldr -- Jon Avlon rips into Trump for trying to pathetically slippery-slope the confederate statues and Washington/Jefferson/etc statues while also agreeing that history shouldn't white-wash the latter's participation of slavery, and Angela responds that we should slippery slope the confederate statues and Washington/Jefferson/etc statues while saying Jon Avlon is wrong somehow and also Trump is wrong but still not aware she is agreeing with the sippery slope argument that he is making. It was weird to watch.

Like, this is YouTube partnering with Sinclair owned stations so that they can air the national programming that those affiliates run locally. And yeah they'll include the news too because it comes with the package but that's not the point at all. This doesn't expand Sinclairs audience at all. It'll just be people watching those stations on YouTube instead of with a cable subscription. If they already watched the news then they'll continue to and if they didn't they won't be starting now.
