I feel cheated. I was hoping this 17 day vacation was medical related, but Trump didn't show up at any press conferences with bandages on his face or a new nose. I have to remind myself that Trump wasn't even supposed to be doing much these two weeks. When he left D.C. his staff had to be like, "whew...finally we can get a break." The guy managed to gently caress up a vacation.

I still don't think that's actually the intent of the skit (you don't messily eat a cake on TV speaking with your mouth full and take credit for nazis backing down if you wanna dignify that position) but I agree it's a confusing mess that can and is being seen that way, and that's a shame.
