HH FPV held it back and certainly restricted the audience but I respect that movie alot more than Crank for doing what is experimental hard mode film making. As per usual Sharlto Copley owns and seriously should be given more work.

Booley posted:Did you miss the guy hanging onto the lumber for dear life inside the car? No, I saw it, I just think it's fine. I also have two related dumb stories. 1. When I was a very wee lad before they had little plastic red flags at Home Depot (or Home Depot at all) that you could just staple on your poo poo, I had to remove my coincidentally red underwear to be used as a flag. I don't think I actually remember this and only know about it due to my sisters telling me many years later. 2. If the lumber humper had an FJ Cruiser instead of that RAV or CRV or whatever it is, he wouldn't have had to do that, because the little 14" tall window on the back of an FJ opens. I hauled a lot of 12-14' long baseboards when I was remodeling my house by having the front end of them pressed up against the windshield and the back end sticking ~4' out the open back window.

I assume the curve has something to do with that, stronger against pressure coming in but weaker against going out. That said I've done exactly the same thing before, my old housemate and I got 16 eight foot 2x4s in to his Mk5 GTI with something like a half inch to spare. That was probably the slowest trip home from town that vehicle ever saw. Also I wish every SUV/van/wagon/hatchback would allow the glass to be opened, it's so nice. IMO the Land Rover style opening is best, with the lower part folding down to a tailgate and the upper part as a hatch. Too bad way too many manufacturers just make it a one-piece hatch.

I did a dumb thing along those lines exactly once, when I was a poor broke college student. It involved a 4 door sedan, a friend, and taking back roads at 10mph while we each held steady a queen sized mattress tied to the roof. Nowadays I just stick with the "rent a pickup from uhaul" route for the 1 day per year on average I actually have to do poo poo like that.

poo poo, at least it wasn't the pedestrian overpass again. That one was right behind where this firetruck is, and the driver who hit it was crushed to death slowly after the entire span pancaked down onto his truck cab.

And It would blind you instantly if the cat knocked it over and just the scatter hit your eyes. None of those people are wearing laser glasses. This is super dangerous, that has to be at least a class 4 laser and will cause eye damage just by looking at the dot on whatever it is burning. If you are burning tortillas in your restaurant in front of your customers and blinding them at the same time, you are doing it wrong.

If you've got one somewhere, put a CD/DVD over the lens. It worked wonders with a point and shoot film camera years ago. Best if there's an area that's just silver, with no paint over it.
