Some pictures from last Friday's 2v2 game: SoH & TS vs SW & NL Horus was able to get a seize on a 4+ to go first on Turn 1. A lot of shooting from the Thousand Sons side at the large Space Wolves Grey Slayer blobs with minimal casualties. Sehkmet moved up into the ruins where they were just in reach of Curze and Leman Russ charge. Both Primachs wiffed all of their attacks but luckily the mob of 40+ Gray Slayers and 20+ Raptors were able to wipe them out along with the Thousand Son's Praetor.  Being left in the open for the beginning of Turn 2 allowed for another good volley of fire from the TS Medusa and Rotorcannon squad along with some shots coming from the SoH side to thin out a fair amount of the Grey Slayers from our left side. SoH was also able to outflank Maloghurst and some Reavers that would ultimately be able to hold off a Grey Slayer assault and destroy the NL predator backline to end up winning the mission type for them.  In the meantime an epic 3-way Primarch battle was underway where Curze finally was able to slug through another sqaud of Reavers to help Leman Russ with Horus. Horus being the bitchmade Primarch he is refused to fight Leman Russ in fisticuffs and continued to sacrifice Justarian after Justarian. Leman Russ was able to slice through them with ease and was able to take half of Horus's wounds away after killing the last Justarian and having the wound spill over. Just as they were to begin the FINAL COUNTDOWN, two squads of TS veterans decided to join the fray and Leman Russ had to slay another two sergeants before ultimately and utterly ripping apart Horus in the final assualt phase of turn 5.   Game ended at Victory for Team Panascope/Hixson with a score of 10 to 4. It should also be noted that the Bush & Bud Lights was able to quench our thirsty mouths with their refreshing and mountain cold taste. I can find the link tomorrow. Basically only infantry, skimmers and walkers. No tanks. 0-1 on most other things like artillery and leviathans. Makes for a much more '30k' experience with a sea of dudes (fnar fnar) clashing. I love it as it removes a lot of the BS with vehicles.
