And Benjen out of nowhere was the most pointless one of all. And yea Tormund dying woulda been fine really but I'm glad there's a chance for him and Hound to be bros now.

End of the episode shows him being attacked/eaten by the AotD thing because it gets loose in his lab. Yara is released as part of the cease fire agreement. Walkers are standing at the gates of Eastwatch as the closing shot.
