Fluffy Pony is legit one of the most disturbing things I've ever seen. I think- that is, I loving hope- that the fantasy for these creators is being the victim. That fuckin' green one with the bowl cut is pretty obviously an author stand-in. You're supposed to empathise with the victim in it, clearly- its most likely a variant on a ravishment fantasy- but because I can't, because it's a goddamned babytalking cartoon horse, my brain instead fixates on the abuser and gah gently caress why. It's so blatant and aggressive and spiteful and faceless. Please, spoiler tag that poo poo in future? Is that unreasonable?

I'm glad everyone is horrified by those ponies, those few that dreddout posted (especially the ring one) legit make me feel uncomfortable, and I've been on the internet since the late 90's, looking at horrific poo poo on purpose with my friends to freak ourselves out. That's enough for me, I'm not going down this rabbit hole. Some real top-tier AUG there, got a reaction like not much else gets in the many iterations of this thread.

Reading the comments on images reveals a strange community. They're tight-knit 4chan types, plenty of them are just in it for the sadistic spectacle. But a minority seem to get cartharsis out of fluffies being punished. Negligent parents (particularly mothers) leading to the abuse or death of their children is an extremely common theme. The author-inserts are usually abused fluffies. The internet psychiatrist in me thinks a lot of the community might have been abused as children, and this serves as a coping method. Additionally, even the more sadistic users sometimes attach themselves to a particular fluffy. They seem that genuinely care about these fluffies, but they still cry out for them to be "punished", as if by virtue of being a fluffy pony they have committed some original sin. They've put a lot of effort into fluffy biology and backstory, everything has a canon reason for why fluffies are the way they are. Moreso than Hasbro ever put into MLP. They even have a wiki that explains the setting. The weirdest dudes are the "hugbox" minority. These guys draw/write largely sfw family friendly content you probably imagine would be associated with something called "Fluffy Pony". Just the ponies being treated well and loving their owners. Some of them seem to believe they can convert the fluffy community to the hugbox. The "abuser" community treats the hugboxers with derision typical 4chan insults are thrown at them, including strangely calling them things like "BLM SJW" for not wanting to punish the fluffies. In conclusion, fluffy pony is a land of contrasts
