The lessons are a) guns make your opinion count more, and b) there's no upside for the government in waiting people out and winning in court if it's just going to be some jury nullification sham. Very bad lessons, and it's going to result in people being killed.

two of the defendants were acquitted on all ten charges one was acquitted on eight of the charges, and the remaining one was acquitted on six of the charges the jury failed to reach a verdict on the remaining charges lol

The defense attorneys are also now going to be fully aware that jury nullification is very much possible. Hopefully the judges involved are likewise aware and do something serious to stamp it out, but I don't know what they could do that a sympathetic jury wouldn't take as "the government is manipulating the trial!"
