Just brainstorming here, but I remember seeing something awhile back about how you could mix moss up in a spray bottle and, using stencils, make moss grafitti. I don't know if that works, but I can't help but think that there's got to be some sort of pain in the rear end thing that can be done to monuments along the same lines, like making some sort of fungal slurry that makes mushrooms sprout all over the place or something. Maybe thioacetone...

here in Atlanta there's a homeless shelter, Peachtree-Pine, that's getting shut down now. it's been super behind on assorted bills and the one that finally got it closed was a $147k outstanding water/sewer bill, paid to the city. the city had shut off the water in 2009, though they did hook it back up. but that's done now, and one of the city's biggest shelters is shutting down. all of this is horrible. but just to amplify that, here are the only comments for the story on Curbed right now.  and all i can really feel s fury, and appreciation for the comrades who have tried to stave this off. but that's... this is why the DSA is meaningful. And so many other orgs of course, but meaningful in a way that none of the liberal/DNC crowd will ever be. i worry a loving lot that i can't get to meetings and participate much given my distance from the city but even what little i can do is fuckin something more effective than thinking of my coffee first.

yeah once upon a time i was somewhat anti-gun mostly because i expected to see more white nationalists out using them and getting away with it. a few years of that later and i've been bugging one of my well-armed, local goon buddies to take me to the range and get me used to all this poo poo.
