I think they got rid of two zones because it resulted in almost every match being a timeout at higher levels. In a 4v4 game, maintaining total control over two separate zones is not really possible.

I don't get shut out in this game in zones as much as I used to. It's a lot easier to stop and reclaim now I think. What seems to happen is the losing team suddenly drops all their specials at the same time and that's hard to stop.

I don't know how people get to a situation in Moray Towers that they'll deadlock the zones. What are the players doing, shooting ink to the zones idly and not even bothering to flank the other team?

Almost certainly in the minority here, but I actually kinda like Moray towers outside of turf wars. Granted I'm still slumming it up in B/B+, but I feel like there's a lot of opportunity to circumvent and flank the other team unnoticed. Any word on when the new maps are gonna drop?

It's by far the worst gamemode because either people get super loving mad real quick (and they don't leave so you don't even get the benefit of not breaking the bar) or they have some dumb big idea which turns out to be "bring the rainmaker through the dumbest way possible" It happens in tower control too. Holy poo poo, when did the trend of S-rank players being gigantic loving babies start? The moment we get a slight disadvantage, people will deliberately waste time at spawn, and lose because we were fighting 3v4. Just report players like that.

To put it another way, the sloshing machine is a combination between a blaster and a bucket. Landing direct hits is more important as the blast radius damage is low, and you can curve it over obstacles. E: In Splatoon 1 it took 2 direct hits to kill iirc. Whereas the tri has a shorter range but with a wider hit box compared to the regular slosher, the sloshing machine has a longer range but a narrower hit box. Visually, it shoots out a big glob of ink that appears to spin as it travels. It functions a little bit like a blaster if I remember correctly, in that indirect it takes more indirect hits to kill than a direct hit. I think it was two indirect hits or one direct hit to score a kill in the first game, but I might be wrong. At any rate, the weapon is really good at area denial - so the autobomb is a great addition for it. It's very hard to approach someone using the weapon if they know you're there, as it has huge range and can cover ink easily.
