*Impossible: Textbooks get new editions all the time and the fact that Luann and Bernice are buying from the school bookstore in the first place indicates they are not savvy enough to know that updated editions are a scam.

My major only scheduled classes one semester a year so used copies were difficult to impossible to find since bookstores paid essentially nothing for them since they couldn't sell them the following semester.

It sucked.
