The NDSAP's base was largely urban Protestants. Hell the Austrian Catholic Fascists objected to the Anschluss on largely religious grounds. (In Austria, self-identifying as a 'national socialist' typically meant you were a Protestant who supported the Anschluss, as opposed to those who identified as 'fascist' who were largely Catholics who opposed unification with Germany) Of course the Fatherland Front was really concerned about power, which is why they indentified as Catholic in a largely Catholic nation in the first place.

Facism as a manifested ideology doesn't give a poo poo what the religion is. It doesn't care if it's mystical Paganism or Monotheism. The only thing that matters is that the religion can enforce the facist state. Which is why the NDSAP abanoned Paganism, for Christianity, specifically Protestantism. It really has no higher spiritual ideals, it deifies Action and Force and it will discard whatever it no longer has a use for, like Ideological Darwinism.

It's no wonder then that Mussolini, who was an admitted atheist, renewed his vows at a public, Catholic ceremony. (He was originally only married civily) And promptly shut up about being anti-catholic. Sure in his ideal world he would probably oust the Pope as a bulwark against him being Supreme Dictator of Nova Roma, but Mussolini understood that for the forseeable future he just couldn't get away with that so he played nice with the papacy to keep the public happy.

That's what these People dipshits don't get. Fascism would gladly liquidate them and all they cared about the moment it became beneficial to do so! If anything it will betray the alt-right for the despised Normies and Chad's that make up the majority of the population just like it sidelined or purged the Strasserist and Occultist elements that made up the original NDSAP, because Hitler wanted normie appeal. (And Krupp money but that's a different issue all together)

I think it's more accurate to say that every religious community has their own fascist tendencies. Fascist do care about religion, they're not oblivious to it, but it matters only insofar as it is instrumental in generating the Other, upon which you blame everything you don't like (as a substitute for critical thinking). Christianity matters to nazis, in so far as it is not-judaism, christianity matters to the alt-right/ameri-nazis, in so far as it is not-islam, Islam matters to the islamic fundamentalists in so far as it is not-western, etc etc.

i was one of the few people watching the videos as he uploaded them (discussion of it was banned on SA at the time and i was basically running the thread about caro on some lf offsite that like 3 people read) and there were three or four videos of him shooting and sniping and stuff that he took down pretty quickly later. there were a LOT of videos that no one really saw. im pretty sure he killed people. there are also interviews that i think brown moses did with people who describe him just becoming a (unstable and incompetent) fighter.

caro's story would make a good and hosed up movie about the absurdity of modern warfare.

I'm speaking of facism in the abstract, not individual facists. The general tendency of the ideology is to promote whatever will allow it to accumulate power. This just usually means promoting whatever the dominant group already identifies with. (There are exceptions of course, if a minority has all the power in a system then their views will be promoted, like with the disrepancy between Germany and Austria led to the NDSAP annexing a Catholic country)

Sure, Eichenwald Von Hentai likes milfs in splats. But if he's alone among the population of Octolandia in that opinion he will eventually be ousted by the fascists who prefer traditional tentacle values. The same thing happened with the Nazi Occultist for the far more mainstream Protestant wing of the party

I also think it's important to remember that fascists are really good at looking past their differences to fight the left. They'll role themselves into a big ideological blob and wait to secure power before they start purging each other

The Swedish right wingers, even if they come to live in the USA, never seem to quite grasp the reality of what they have fun with.
