Outside of TMs, are the other units on the banner really even worth a drat? I'm still tossing a few tickets here and there at the Veritas banner because I really want a damned Veritas of the Heavens so I can use his TM to make a BiS Elza, but after doing all of the my daily pulls and around 10 tickets I still haven't pulled a single banner unit. I hate when I use up all of my luck on the previous banner.

His armor is probably not going to be used, because it's not heavy armor and people are going to be looking to put Dark Knight's Soul on him. We could really use a Sword Mastery but DKS is pretty close and you can follow that up with Earth Veritas TMR for 40% more. Then I'd guess people will give him the Fist and Fist Mastery + 2x Champion's belts. I'll just stick to the Daily Halfs, where I'll continue to increase my collection of Celeses, Fangs, and Sazhs, with the occasional Bedile, Russel, Cyan, Shadow, and Rakshasa thrown into the mix. At least Sazh has an O.K.-ish TMR.

If you're mixing elements that will also trigger the healing as long as light is included in there - by that I mean if you have two characters - one with ice and light, the other fire and light, it will all heal veritas of light. They have weird code for checking resistances to mixed elements and it appears that the veritas absorbs are just a flag that says "make it healing instead" - or something like that. If you don't include the element at all in your attack it won't heal.

Whales are gonna whale, this isn't targeted at them. This is designed to go after dolphins who only occasionally spend money when a popular unit like Cloud or Sephiroth comes around. No way this is permanent on every banner, they wanna keep it "rare" so that when they do put it out there you are more likely to impulse buy.
