Is there a downside to just bringing all of your Pegasus aircraft to the hangar? Can you still call them via Pegasus? (Maybe just the vanilla version?)

FuturePastNow posted:drat. Well, destroying other peoples' cargo at least increases something else. This is actually a game mechanic I'd love to see across the board, but you know there's zero chance of implementing it. It would be a major shift in griefing other players away from just following and blowing up shipments, and offer a reason why just destroying shipment is only worth $1000 Someone buying crates, sourcing a vehicle, or stealing supplies(MC or guns), you should be able to jack it and put it in your own warehouse. I/E kinda does this with being able to take the stolen car to the police for a reward, which would be a fun twist if you don't have a relevant facility for whatever cargo you just stole. Like steal a gunrunning supply but don't have a bunker to apply it to, take it to a police drop point for some cash reward If you interrupt someones sale, but can still deliver it to the target destination, why not get payment? Criminals usually don't care where their contraband comes from, as long as it shows up on time. This would be especially cool on I/E since you might get the whole $100,000 and the original seller is on the hook for the $20k customizing.

Lol i love reading the patch notes on this, but i did find this one in there, which has been a problem that has made the APC p much unusable for pubbie hunting when it desyncs all over the road. Hopefully this cleans that up! What do they consider high frame rates? * Fixed an issue that caused amphibious vehicles driving on land to desync in GTA Online when running at high frame rates.

The Quad Lens combat helmets all have Thermal Vision that you can activate through the Accessories page of the style menu, and once you've done that you can turn it on/off any time by flipping the goggles up and down Dual Lens ones have night vision instead if you care about that. edit: Also not sure if they were pulling my leg, but someone in my session was doing that stunt plane mission and said that they were able to blow up the truck and it dropped the crate on the ground. Instead of coding specific vehicles to standard/mid/top tiers, they just made it a >100k? comparison so mid level cars were selling for double (62,5 -> 125) and that was enough dollas to flag it as a top end car. Hot tip: If you buy the Alpha Z-1 stunt plane, aka that low slung tiny green thing in the front, don't put the Racer handling mod on it. It becomes completely uncontrollable I think when I get back home tonight i'm gonna buy that Starling, but otherwise I've got basically everything I wanted until they release more planes, and i'm only out around $10m. I do appreciate that, if nothing else, they made all the weapon and armor and countermeasure poo poo available right from the start instead of behind a ridiculous research wall.

From the planes I've tried out doing missions I really hope that one of the upgrades is either extra machine guns or higher calibre weapons, either bigger MGs or cannons. I'm kinda loving that weird one with short wings and the single prop engine over the fuselage attached to the tail.

So the number of cargo you get per mission increases with each person in the group for a maximum of 4, depending how much of a type of cargo your selling you're earning a minimum of $500,000 per sale. Which isn't all that great until consider associate earn a little more 1/4 of the value of the sale. It adds up pretty quickly. Import/Export is still king of solo sales, but it looks like aircraft is better overall if you're running groups.

Floppychop posted:Should I be sourcing anything specific for the Hanger source missions? Or just keep hitting "any"? You get a larger benefit for selling a large amount of a single item. you can only have 50 items max, so you want to keep your hangar as focused as possible, sourcing a main item and a single secondary whenever there is a cooldown on the main. then sell the secondary to make more room for the main when needed.

This update is both suprisingly buggy for Rockstar and pretty empty? No no missions or anything so it's just crate runs. Air crates are still OG crates, complete with a terrible ROI. Most sourcing missions are fine to do solo except a few which screw you hard as hell for not having a buddy. Firing flares counts as a weapon so if you fire them over Zancudo, for example, you get a two star. Flares will also attract your own missiles, which will pull impossible 180s just to hit a flare behind you instead of the enemy Hydra in front of you. the upside is the crate missions let you fly a lot of new planes without buying them, so there's some nice try before you buy. And it led to me discovering a very nice feature on one of them.... T1g4h posted:I hate to break it to you, but... maybe not in the MiG, but HA HA! finally! Eight shot salvo of unguided rockets.

Yeah, I was a little sad that the reduced prices for the new planes didn't involve a mission with them. I've been checking out videos on the new planes, I want a Rogue and one of the new jets, the Starling seems interesting with the booster that's like the Oppressor but can be toggled rather than just being expended all in one go. I'm a bit disappointed with the Tula though, it's one that needs two or three people to work properly. I also already have the Ultralight, for 500k before upgrading it's pretty awesome but it is just a toy, there's not really any practical use for it.

Jet AI isn't much better; I've seen Merryweather jets crash into their own escorts or vice versa. Bombing cam is stupid pointless; it's just pointing down, which doesn't matter if you're going forward. Given that vaguely reasonable bombsights existed in the 30s, the only excuse I can think of is they didn't expend the effort to care about it. Just dive bomb in standard camera view ... just like in the 40s Still as far as purchases go, the Rogue is good. Maneuverable, reasonably quick. You can arm it with bombs, homing missiles and explosive guns, though they're on pods pretty far out the wing so it's hard to hit with the convergence (compare to a Lazer or Hydra where the guns are on the centerline or close to it, very easy to hit) I want the Nokota to have explosive round upgrades because standard MGs just don't cut it on planes, and they're all over this fuckin' DLC. I really don't like them on the MiG, because the MiG-15 was sort of famous for having a heavy gun punch. It should have all explosive cannons. The Starling is interesting to fly. Very maneuverable, like all these planes, but the booster makes it different at least. Not sure I love it but it's fun enough on the missions. I've got the ultralight and tiny helicopter but I haven't flown them yet. The off-the-radar Ultralight prop (carbon prop) sounds like it could be quite interesting. The Tula ... I don't know what I think about the Tula. A VTOL seaplane, ok, sure, except it ... isn't armed that heavily and aside from seaplane mission gimmicks, so what? JATO takeoff is badass though. That goes for everything equipped with JATO, mind. anyway I dunno it's a DLC. it's a bigger money grab than usual, I do like the new planes, and that is what it is. I am seriously in love with the Alpha Z1. It's so insanely fast and twitchy, the little bastard is absolutely mental. It's like the Mallard taken to a whole new level of absurdity, which is saying something because the Mallard was pretty ridiculous already, albeit not nearly as fast. It's pretty crazy to see just how maneuverable most of these new planes are, I've been pulling off super fast barrel rolls and banking dives with the slightest adjustment of the stick. Now to save my money and wait for the Hunter and Nokota

Tula seems to be a "jack of all trades, master of none" deal, while everything else is a bit more specialized. Being able to land anywhere, carry five people and drop bombs seems decent. The Ultralight is actually probably a dark horse favorite for me; having a gun that the pilot can actually aim is nice, but what really stands out is that carbon prop mod that lets you be permanently off the radar as long as you aren't holding the gas. Seems like it's designed for solo crate running and dunking on snipers.

# ? Aug 30, 2017 03:55 |

I was skeptical, but the Tula is awesome. It's the go-anywhereness of a helicopter with the speed of a (slow) plane, holds 5 people, and it can drop cluster bombs. Here's a way to have fun: 1) Get hangar at Zancudo 2) Invite people to hangar 3) Kick them out of it If they don't own a hangar at the base, they get an instant 4-star wanted level.

I'm not much of a pilot especially w/ dogfighting and precision, so most of the new crate missions being air based don't really do anything for me I bought the Zancudo hangar for base access, and its just down the road from my bunker. Got a couple planes that looked fun.

They also added a shitload of new clothing items and hats/helmets so stop crate running at least long enough to hit up the mask shop. Get your own NVG or thermal goggles! Couple more things: The mini helicopter is incredibly good. The AI cheating on supply runs like "escort the slowest titan ever" is through the roof. Literal aimbotting so bad it defies all reason. The Apache has rockets, missiles, and bombs because of course. The copilot gun is a fairly good heavy MG it seems. I was sort of expecting a Valkyrie gun copy but it's not. Shreds helicopters though.
