I remember during Occupy, we had some of our own people yearning for a leader to control the movement. I think it's fairly obvious that during stressful times people seek a clear-eyed leader to help them. If progressives love Corbyn and Sanders, then let them go ham. You can't try to temper a passionate movement because "aw shucks I wish they diversified and picked younger people." Also, grassroots movements take a long rear end time. If Corbyn and Sanders can get people talking about socialism, and get people fired-up, then god bless 'em and god speed. I 100% believe Bernie when he says a mass-movement/political revolution is possible if we get some firebrands into bully pulpit positions.
