Honestly I'd rather them unlock different outfits like Tanooki Mario or Flower Power Mario or put the Poltergeist 5000 on Luigi's back. Oh well.

Weird bug. Beat world 2's boss and went back to look up treasure and time has frozen. There's no music and the big mario rabbid balls in the scenery are moving but nothing else is. It's honestly kinda eerie. Also I have literally no idea what to do party wise now that I have Peach. Her abilities make it sound like she's a tank? I have no idea and I'm kinda wishing I had 4 spots for teammates because I'm paranoid of playing without rabbid Peach to heal and a brokebrain part of me doesn't want 2 mario's and 0 luigis

Yeah there's friendly fire. I had to restart a challenge when Mario managed to nail Luigi in the crossfire of killing 3 smashers

Except for Mario. This is the key to not having rabbid peach in your party all the time.

Use a team jump and wherever she lands there's an upgradable healing radius. VVVVV Yeah, vamp is a drat killer ability. The dash, coupled with a vamp weapon pretty much ensures rabbid Luigi is almost always max health.

I'm actually not that much a fan of Rabbid Peach. healing 40ish doesn't do much when I could have Rabbid Luigi dashing for 50 a pop with vamp and stoning an enemy

She joins you just before the world 2 main boss Any tips for 3-1? It's a bad omen that I'm struggling to think of anything already but it puts you in such a lovely placement that one of my teammates just eats poo poo and dies from overwhelming fire almost out the gate.

World 2 midboss: i completed destroyed that fight. Cleared it in two turns by focus firing on the two Rabbids. Technically would have been three turns but the sand/grenade tossing one ended up killing Mario and itself with a grenade. So no perfect clear for me.

 I don't know HOW I managed to get this within 13 turns. It felt like I was taking my sweet rear end time getting through this one because the big guys infinitely respawn.  I'll say, this battle especially really hammered home how important the dash attack is. Granted it certainly helped that I got lucky with a few shots and knocked some of the big guys off the screen and also inked the last one I fought right as it got next to both Mario and Luigi. I also got a loving sick shot with Mario where he combo'd with himself where he crit an enemy, the enemy went flying and the flying trigged Mario's special move and he shot him AGAIN while in the air and the dude went flying out of bounds. It was fuckin awesome. This game needs a highlight system I am genuinely shocked at how much I'm enjoying the game. The actual xcom didn't interest me in the slightest, and it frankly still doesn't even after playing this, but I'm glad I took the risk on buying this game cause it's really really fun. I read like five posts about this game while I was standing in GameStop deciding whether or not to buy a Switch. I now own a Switch. I'm seeing a lot of people saying this game actually is difficult, but I got the DLC weapons and they seem pretty good considering they're free. Should I skip using them to preserve the difficulty curve or will they not make much of a difference?

It'll save you some cash early on. Amiibo weapons fall into the same category it seems.

Oh man I wanna see how a team of Mario Luigi and Peach do That's when I found out I'm required by law to have a rabbid on my team. That's kind of bizarre, I mean I admit I wanted to see the slapstick bullshit that would happen with 3 overwatch skills proccing but I guess not now. Anyone know if I'll be able to remove Mario at some point? His jump is super useful and it's not like he's bad by any stretch of the imagination but it feels more and more bizarre as my party grows that I can only swap in 2 people.

Honestly the main reason I was so upset Sonic/Cloud got into smash is because now I can't laugh at all the people who clamor for non-Nintendo IP to get into the game because now almost anything is fair game. But yeah, I figured advertising is the reason they force a Rabbid into your party, but I'll bet Nintendo is getting an equally sweet part of that deal. People loving love Minions which are basically just Rabbids but with a wider audience, so this game makes a ton of sense from a marketing standpoint. It also helps that it's really fun.

Alright, just got perfect rating on the boss of world 1 and I'm really liking the game so far. I was worried for a little bit about character usage because I was thinking to myself there was no way Luigi was going to be useful as a sniper when getting close to enemies allows you to dash attack them for free damage, but I'm positive that I wouldn't have been able to get a perfect without him. Hell, I had two turns to spare even
