Sky saying that if a bid goes in for VVD today Southampton will reject it. Liverpool saying they're not bidding unless given the go ahead. Both clubs have been incredibly consistent here. Wish we had at least one other CB target though.

He wasn't outstanding last year, but he was better than anyone other than Koscielny (who was p bad when he first joined, lest we forget) and is still relatively young. Some people are saying Wenger wanted Jonny Evans last year, and Mustafi was basically a panic buy when he couldn't get him, and if that's the case then burning all your bridges with Mustafi at the first hint of being able to sign Jonny loving Evans would be the Wengerest thing of all time.
