All this stuff about the AI is really good, especially the little bits about trying to make sure people can't run back and forth past screens for a good animation. The rumours about Path to 99 really sounds good too, finally decoupling MyPlayer advancement from MyCareer.

Double teaming actually doing anything is nice. it's always frustrating when you got a Big trapped with your high steal PG for 5 seconds and they still manage to pass the ball perfectly away. Biggest question: Will they finally stop making Rubio an elite 3-point shooter

I might consider picking up a Switch now. Sports games are one of the few things I play on my PS4 so being able to take them on the go would be nice.

I've gotten 2K for PC the past couple years, but I could be tempted to get it on Switch. Now just show us that MyPlayer isn't the same song and dance, and I'm in.

fuckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk off. Im still gonna buy it because I'm a loving idiot, but it looks like you still have to make the dumb choice between upgrading looks and upgrading skills with one currency, and all this walking around poo poo is cool in theory but its really just gonna mean everything takes 5 times as long as it already did. Now not only do you have to go through a cutscene to enter a game, you have to walk around town and enter a cutscene to go to the gym, to go to the park, to buy some clothes!!! great.

Also 99 almost certainly won't mean some kind of godlike all around player, it'll just mean the maximum possible stats for the archetype you pick. Another thing, in the past loading into the park and proam has been insanely laggy and often hosed up, especially on PC, so I'm sure that this new much bigger more involved thing that the entire population of the game is using will work really well.

also it is the most 2k thing that Live was getting hype about the whole 'from the streets to the courts' thing and then they just went 'that's cute, WELCOME TO BASKETBALL CITY BITCH', Live still looks real solid but they kinda got chumped in nearly every way possible I guess.
