Also can someone make an app where it searches youtube for cycling videos, and, if there is a spoiler either in the loving title or in the preview image, it finds out where the person who posted the video lives, sends a drone around to their house, knocks on the door, and punches them in the face with one of those extending boxing glove things only really hard so they know how annoyed I am at them.

Theres talk of neutralising the descent today because of torrential rain.
|
# ? Aug 29, 2017 12:59 |

If there's as much soil on the road on the descent as there is on the ascent, that's probably not a bad idea.

Froome would be ok. Sky can afford the good tyres.

Glad they didn't neutralise it. What the gently caress has happened to Roche? He looks a genuine contender.

It's probably a lovely descent if you're not in a hurry or surrounded by a hundred other people jostling for good road position.

This is getting good now. But Froome's gonna do his thing now where he gets 'dropped' then returns to crush the weak

Like how much of that style is intentional based on power metered testing of your pacing, and how much is preference? Dumolin did it on the Girl, too, right?

They know what they can/can't do and as such try to never go above whats been worked out it will take them to climb it at max effort. Thats why you had situations like Dumoulin letting people tear up the road and tire themselves out and he gradually pulled them back in time after time. Froome just rides what he can do and then goes ham in the last km.

At first there was this clip: https://twitter.com/inrng/status/903276424735404033 And then it turns out it was one of the policeman doing the pushing: https://twitter.com/Laura_Meseguer/status/903305095936401408 So this fan thought pushing was a good idea and wanted to get in on the action: https://twitter.com/CyclingHubTV/status/903312753590509569

My hunch was that he was planning on using that same bit of tarmac that the stopped moto was on. That, combined with super dry roads.
