It's not really subtle that most of Ex-Aid is Emu beating human compassion into people. Hiiro calls everybody by titles because he sees people as jobs to fulfill to the letter. Taiga uses Rider names because the only thing that matters to him is winning the game (later this is Nico). Masamune uses game names because he's capitalism made flesh. Parad just sees everything except himself and Emu as a game piece. Kuroto looks as mortality as a problem to hack with his

Something that occurred to me while watching exaid that I haven't seen people mention is that it reused a handful of MotW Bugsters quite a bit, but wrangled it into being kinda neat. It was fun to see stuff like the Riders going "oh great, Salty again", or the Bakisou Bike one coming back all out of it over having his bike reprogrammed away last time he showed up. e: also played into the plot since the fact that Bugsters could be backed up, even without fully manifesting, played a big part in Parad's initial worldview. Emu mentioned at the end that he wants to find a way to bring everyone back and cure them though, including Dan Kuroto and Kujo Kiriya, so I assume he meant a method that isn't bringing them back as Bugsters. I don't know if that'll happen in any of the movies, I'm just curious about if those Bugsters links to their original hosts will mean anything if the host is revived and fully cured.

It could be a case of wanting someone to live a life as a regular ol' human - Kiriya did take offense towards Kuroto bringing up the fact that, if Nico died to the Gamedeus virus, she could live a life as a bugster (Secret for Ex-Aid binge watchers). It reminds me a bit of the main villain from the Ghost summer movie, who didn't seem to understand that being a ghost isn't inherently better than living as a human.

Well, I think the more important problem is since Masamune had the Master Chronicle gashat, they had no way of resurrecting her anytime soon if she did die, or no way of keeping him from pulling a Saki and holding her data hostage as he certainly would to try to influence Taiga. A resurrection would be kinda dicey at that point.

So if you really want to see Ex-Aid using Bang Bang Simulations, you can make that happen. EDIT: I am truly grateful that Bang Bang Simulations is something I can google at work without getting horrendous results.
