You notice how Silva is consistently the most advanced player? He is always up in between the centre backs, consistently further forward than Isco and Asensio who are playing out from the middle of the park. Spain have so many ball carrying twinkle toes in midfield they are cutting Italy in two. Its p sad to watch because Italy can do so much better than this but all they can manage are off target long balls to nowhere.

This formation is crap and I don't know if Ventura is telling them to try to walk it in to the net or what. When Italy played Spain in Torino they looked nothing like this and the result showed. This is like watching Milan from last year. At the end of this I hope Ventura takes a beating from the press, and it will be his fault when Italy has to play Portugal or someone in the play off.
