I also feel like pointing out that its also just really loving bad writing in general. The whole "Roosevent:Socialsecurity;Johnson:Medicare/aid;Carter:peace;Clinton:haha" ignores the rule of 3's, which is just so drat important for effective writing.

Also should end with the strongest, so likely Carter->Johnson->Roosevent in that order.

in this instance talking about a record of accomplishment across modern history you should imo frame them either advancing toward the present or back into the past, as a way to show achievements building on their predecessors

like its a real special but not uncommon case because the stuff is all in living-ish memory—so people have a strong sense of how they should be ordered—but not so recent that you can just slop em all in as current events, any order

the more damning thing tho is that shes ostensibly building to a point that dems, are, good and she doesnt earn it. most of that graf is primary salt about how bernie made a bad no-no then a hasty list of things she likes about dems. she could literally keep the :salt: if she wanted if instead of working in a rush to pretend shes being positive, she put some effort into the accomplishment section like

"bernie sanders never truly identified w the democratic party. i always have. to me, the democratic party is the party of roosevelt, who fought poverty at home w social security, the public works administration, and the food stamp plan; and who made america a leader in world peace in ww2; it is the party of johnson, who built on those social reforms w medicare and medicaid and the most sweeping civil rights reforms since lincoln; and of carter, who negotiated the peace between israel and egypt. it is the party of universal healthcare and of victory against all qaeda. the democratic party is a party of thinkers like bill clinton, who worked w congress to balance the federal budget; and of democratic dreamers like kennedy, who challenged us to walk the farthest shores by landing americans on the moon. the democratic party is the party of diversity, but it remains united around principles of fairness, justice, peace, and american achievement. i am proud to call myself a democrat. im proud of our record in service to the american people, and im proud to build it higher and higher."

and thats like ten minutes of work, a pro ghostwriter (prostwriter) should have slam dunked that poo poo

yeah those are reasons why obama won in a huge landslide but its still weird that a romney or huck voter would be more likely than a mccain voter to vote for mccain

The impact of Sarah Palin can't be stated enough. I knew stalwart Republicans who were like, "Nah, gently caress that crazy woman."

They probably all voted Trump though. Business success, all of that.

isn't strange how all the accomplishments she calls out in the Bernie bashing people like Medicare and Social Security were things not produced by the New Democrat movement?

Lolling how Obama's biggest accomplishment Obamacare is falling apart since it assumed big pharma and medical insurance industry would actually have interest in reducing costs.

Obama never assumed that because he was always in their pocket. He was just a neoliberal, darker version of Reagan - an optimistic smile in the front and a dagger in the back.

historically speaking his margins in 2008 was not that big, it was like D+7

Reagan 1980 was R+9, 84 was like R+19
