Night10194 posted:Samoyeds always look so friendly and happy. I have what I assume is a Samoyed crossbreed in my neighborhood; he's fluffy like a Samoyed, built exactly like a Samoyed, but has brown on his ears and tail (but not his feet) and is faintly yellowed other places. Like he got washed with a golden retriever. He is, quite literally, the friendliest dog I have ever met. He's happy to see you. He's happy when you throw a ball. He's happy when you don't throw a ball, especially if you talk to or pet him. I've seen young kids pull his ears and tail - not maliciously, just grabbing stuff as very young children do - and he doesn't mind, because he likes kids too. (He lives with some.) The only thing I've seen him not like is the big riding lawnmower the city uses if he spots it in the nearby park. He's quieter though. I've heard him bark (and yeah, it's softer than I expected it to be) but he's not super vocal, at least the times when I've seen him out and about.

I love the cat's tail wrapping around its front legs when it gets to the top. It is up there for one purpose: to make a cat-loaf.

Yeah, in retrospect, 'soft' is not exactly the right word to describe samoyed barks, but there is something unexpected about how they sound - is it that their barks sound like they ought to be coming from a much smaller dog? Of course Henry wasn't sticking his face into the mud, why do you ask?

The only reason you can't see a Canada goose specifically on that chart is because they've gone so far off the right side they're out of view.

Former DILF posted:
Basically every experience with Canada geese I've either had personally or heard about has been that they are just complete fuckers. If a goose has babies nearby or is looking for food or just takes a fancy to that patch of grass you're standing on, it will bite the poo poo out of you or just beat you about the face and head with those goddamn wings. Don't gently caress with geese. If they're well-behaved it's just because they haven't gotten around to hating you yet.

Even when I go out of my way to deliberately antagonize them, they just waddle away. I'm beginning to think the local geese are just defective.
