Is it Titan or Nessus that has that huge indoor area that looks like something from Blade Runner? That whole space is awesome. You go through it on the quest, and the strike with the big shrieker at the end.

Does the Sturm quest actually have to be done on Nessus? Finding 10 fallen yellow bars on that planet is annoying

Lost sector enemies reset as soon as you walk out. I used the one near the exodus black Failsafe location. Took me about 10 minutes tops, just run straight to the servitor miniboss and kill him then run straight back out, rinse & repeat. (the loot cache contents won't refresh)

Also, you get a follow up where you have to enter the strike solo by actually using the mission beacon at the entrance to the strike, it's easily doable. You cannot do it from the vanguard strike playlist. The target servitor is in the darkened area just after the walker, you can't miss it. Just kill the servitor in that, and you can exit safely.

This game seems pretty good as someone who hates most shootmans and burnt out on the first Destiny around the first raid launch.

I played with some nightstalkers, but it seems like their orb generation has taken a massive nosedive now. Conversely, striker just shits out orbs now, especially with crest of alpha lupi exotic and trample perk. You guys have any ideas/guesses on the recommended light level for Leviathan normal mode? The standard nightfall says 240 so I'm thinking 250-260. I've been working my way up to 271 light so I'm thinking I'll try the other classes while I wait for the raid now. The amount of time I need to spend per light level is getting very high.

So I'm not 20 yet (18) but I'm getting the impression from folks talking that exotics have... less... in terms of crazy special features attached to them. While that would be fine with me overall. (Crazy is good though) they could probably do stuff in the future with more "cosmetic" features that would still make weapons special and sought after. This one shoots rainbow colored bullets. This one has way more ridiculous knockback rag doll. This one expels flame exhaust from the side whenever fired... etc...

^^No. That's pretty much the only thing keeping you from instantly getting your alts up to your highest level as soon as you hit 20. In case anyone isn't aware, you can infuse weapons of the same type across kinetic/energy. For example, you can take a 280 kinetic scout rifle and infuse it into a 260 solar scout rifle.

I've been playing as Arcstrider with Quickfang and Raiden Flux and it is full on MGR2. It even works in PVP. I don't even shoot mans much anymore. 10/10

I really like how this game handled the character classes. They condensed the perks down to the best ones and got rid of the grinding. I finished the story with my Titan and I only have a couple perks left on Sunbreaker and everything is unlocked.

I played the first game but tapped out after the first or second expansion (I went back and did some of the Taken King but didn't finish because I was running it solo, didn't play the Iron legion expansion at all) how far behind will I be going into the second game, also I never really did much of the PvP so that's not an issue.

My only beef with the subclass setups is there's really not any value judgements to make. You pick one or the other and that's it. Playing around with synergies in D1 was pretty fun.
