Nilfgard is good at this... I do think GvGs being more than just 5v5 is a good idea for the game(these city GvGs are 20v20).

I'm totally the crazy one for not wanting some program which requires admin rights to sit in all our chat channels. Several people not me asked for the source which you still to this day have not provided. Time to wrap some more tin foil around my head.

You know we had a long discussion about this. Honestly most of us wouldn't have thought twice, but you and TT continuously bring this up when it's long since been dropped. You guys continue to push it everywhere and every time you act like you get youtube royalties from every user who auths from it. If you guys weren't so pushy about it, none of us would have even considered that it COULD be malicious.

I dont blame you for not trusting them.... the dude kimsemsus or w/e has apparently gone 'gently caress Goons' in several games and I dont see why you would have thought AO would be different. Also I dont see the point having that bot in our discord anyway -- if a random goon is gonna find this game/guild it will mostly likely be through this thread.

It doesn't require admin rights to sit on all of your channels. It requires you assign it a Channel so it can listen to people request authing and a role so it can elevate those people to that role.... I mean dude I know you are an intelligent individual but you sure are dense as to how this works...

To authenticate yourself on a Discord Server that is part of the [url]http://discordgoons.com[/url] directory, the server owner needs to enable the !authme command. (This is how we separate pubbie servers from Goon Servers)

1. Authenticate yourself to GDN by typing: !authme SA USERNAME HERE
Example:
!authme IAmKale
!authme Tempus Thales

2. Use the !list_roles and !list_channels commands to see a list of all roles and channels on your server.
Example: 
!list_roles = will list you a role in this format: Bots (136833539072196608)
!list_channels = will list you a channel in this format: auth-tracker (156152037711544321)

3. Pick ONE role to be given to authenticated goons, and ONE channel for GDN Bot to post a success message to, and keep their ID's handy.

4. Enter: !gdn_activate_auth ROLE_ID_HERE CHANNEL_ID_HERE to activate auth for your server.

!gdn_activate_auth 136833539072196608 156152037711544321

The above example will activate the role bots under the channel auth tracker...

The only reason we dont share the code for the bot is that so far we have been running this for 2yrs and a half (3yrs this October) and we have never had a single security incident in that time and in 79 servers.

and your eyes are going to melt and we dont want that...
