All those cartoons are why I think Hillary should just shut up and stay out of the spotlight. It gives right-wing cartoonists ammo for their never-ending searing hatred for her, and as long as they're whining about "emails", the more it distracts from Trump's raft of scandals and incompetencies.

Just lol if you think they wouldn't instantly retarget if Clinton vanished. Fascists don't suffer from cognitive dissonance.

It's definitely true that Hillary is one of their favorite scapegoats. That probably wouldn't stop if she headed off to a distant monastery and lived out the rest of her life. Coming out and doing a public post mortem on her failed presidential bid, and complaining about unfair treatment, though, just give them more to feed on.

Hillary has indicated that she not going to run for president. This book was basically a tell all "gently caress you I don't care what you think, now that I don't have to act presidential I'm going to speak what's on my mind" with no regard for the democrats. From the way I've read reviews, it will basically reinforce whatever you felt about her. Bernie bros will use it as evidence that she's still a corporate shill, right wingers will use it as evidence that she refuses to blame herself, and Hillary fans will use it to strengthen their belief that all the odds really were against her. I really do want to read it, especially if she has taken a gloves-off approach.
