The plot moves super fast after a certain point, I really appreciated that after spending so much time in Chapter 3

It gets a little too fast past a certain point. They really should have spent more time on the last bit

The pacing is a little off but the ending is so good that it makes up for it imo.

Yeah it's really powerful. It really hammers home the themes of the game, and kind of made me appreciate my friends a little bit more, too.

My only criticism of the post credits scene is that someone knocked on my door halfway through it so I had to rewatch my stream for second hand feels

It might be a bad game.

It's not bad. It's not great, or one of my favorite FF games, but it's still pretty dang good with an interesting battle system and a story that truly feels bigger than whatever your band of heroes is up to. Play it for like 5 hours and if you're not feeling it, put it down.

i always really liked the IX overworld music, its almost sad and pretty low-key compared to the usually very boisterous adventuring music found throughout the series
