Just traded Gurley + Bennett for Kelce + Jeffery. Needed an Arob replacement. QB: Stafford RB: LeVeon, Khunt, Howard, Cohen, Henry, Jamaal, Coleman WR: Hopkins, Jeffery, Martavius, Golladay TE: Kelce 10 team standard. No idea who I play in my flex going forward.

Dropping Prosise for someone. Should I go for Buck Allen, Alvin Kamara or Bilal Powell? I can realistically only get one with the way waivers are going.

Is there any hope for hanging on to McFadden? Or should I just replace him with anything else?

Im higher on Powell then most. I think by the end of the season NYJ are riding him as far as he will take them.

Jeffrey will most likely come around, but what's the backfield look like in Tennessee? I know Henry has a decent chance to steal carries. Thanks! Quoting this from a couple pages ago, but I'm curious for opinions. Also, is anyone else having the issue that Buck Allen just isn't in NFL.com leagues? Would you consider Carlos Hyde for Jordy Nelson a fair trade if someone is looking for a starting RB? I already have Melvin Gordon, Dalvin Cook, Tarik Cohen and Chris Carson.

RVProfootballer posted:If he's versatile like Tyreek, line him up out wide, keep Howard running the ball. But I don't see how it lowers Howard's ceiling really, he can still receive his handful of targets a game too (like he did week 1), along with the majority of the carries. Or you think Cohen's good enough/Howard's bad enough that the pass play percentage is actually going to go up? Your point is salient (that CHI can just kick Cohen out more as a wideout), but if Howard continues to display stone hands, he will torpedo his snap count.

I'm going to stake my claim on this not-really hot taek and welcome criticism from all enemies foreign and domestic. (From the Start/Sit thread): Suave Fedora posted:I'm struggling with picking up (and using) JAX D/ST at home vs TEN or TB vs CHI. I decided to roll with JAX as my defense for Week 2+. I've read at least twice here that JAX is not a startable option against TEN and I'm seeing more reasons against this assessment than for. TEN does not have the history of being some offensive juggernaut like NO, ATL, GB or NE. TEN is the 12th ranked offense after Week 1 and Mariota's stat line against OAK was 256 yards, 61% completion rate, 0 passing TDs, 1 rushing TD (half of his 2016 total). His historical completion rate is low 60's. An OAK defense that is not know for stoutness limited both Demarco Murray and Derrick Henry and the exotic smashmouth to just 69 yards rushing (10.5 fantasy points in 1 ppr) and 256 passing yards. There are no game-breaking "just get the ball in their hands" wideouts on that team, which include Corey Davis (remains to be seen), Eric Decker and Rishard Matthews (whom I respect as a 50/50 jump-ball grabber but doesn't possess other elite attributes like speed). So that's the opposing team this week. Here's the remaining JAX schedule and tell me it doesn't read like the starting credits of a blockbuster porno: JAX vs BAL JAX @ NYJ JAX vs PIT JAX vs LAR JAX @ IND JAX vs CIN JAX vs SD JAX @ CLE JAX @ ARI JAX vs IND JAX vs SEA JAX vs HOU JAX @ SF JAX @ TEN Wow. Look at all the bold teams that you want to be playing against. Out of the remaining 5 teams, only 1 (PIT) puts the fear of God into me in terms of teams that can really rack up the points against JAX, particular with Ben at home. Doug Marrone was a defensive-minded coach and one thing he did good was draft a young roster with talent and create a situation where key players like Calais Campbell could be acquired in free agency to plug up decencies. I am putting my flag down on the Jacksonville Jaguars being a D/ST to own that will remove streaming from your weekly waiver considerations. As of last waiver period, ownership in JAX jumped 15% in ESPN leagues to 96%, but do keep an eye out for them being dropped ahead of Week 3 vs BAL or Week 5 @ PIT.

pubic works project posted:Who would you guys rather have? 1PPR. Ellington, Burkhead, or Paul Perkins? Perkins (sadly), he'll put up RB3/flex numbers and has little competition for carries. Ellington maybe is a better lotto ticket in that he's shown he's talented, but I don't trust him to get much volume or stay healthy. Burkhead won't get volume, hasn't shown he's talented, and has far more competition than the other two, so he's easily bottom there.

Yea unless your bench is complete poo poo you don't need to own McFadden. Someone dropped Allen Robinson in my dynasty league even though we have 3 IR slots. We have a $250 salary cap and his salary is $13. Salaries increase $1 or 10% each year (whichever is higher). How much FAAB should I bid on him? (Out of $100).

In the preseason, MFG put out a good article about looking at defense by committee strategy, and specifically trying to identify two teams that mesh the best. They identified Jacksonville and Philadelphia, because between the two you get 11 home games, two games each against the Texans, 49ers and Rams (bad QB situations), and one of those sets is week 14-16, so great playoff opponents. You also get games against the Jets, Browns, Bears and Redskins. And as a bonus now that DJ is out and Palmar is looking really questionable, the Cardinals as well. I know that it goes against conventional strategy, but I drafted the Jags and Eagles across all my leagues because I fell that getting all of the above and not having to play the wire each week to find a good matchup is well worth it. Finding out the the Jags seem like a solid defense all on their own is just a nice bow on top
